Titanic Panic && Nervous Breakdown

I made a separate page for the crap I'm making, the old page is here.

Titanic Panic is a single player Doom wad I'm making.
(but is okay for coop with 1-3 players)
Nervous Breakdown is a deathmatch Doom wad I'm making
(Optimal for about 4 players

DOWNLOADS
Note:  As of revision 35 map notation is now TITMAP eg TITMAP01.
Episode 1 goes from TITMAP01-TITMAP09.

MS Paint Doom by CombineBobNT (REQUIRED)

Version 5.3 beta of MSPD (currently using this in my servers)

https://www.wuala.com/Combinebobnt/Combinebobnt%20doom%20mod%20folder/MSPaintDoom%20Station/mspdbet52.3-package.zip/
WANNA PLAY COOP?
I'd recommend using this random spawner to make the game harder
mspd randomspawner

WANNA PLAY DEATHMATCH?
I'm making some multiplayer junk for MSPD as well, it's called -
NERVOUS BREAKDOWN
v001:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/nfinkb68yczu4dh/NervousBreakdown001.pk3

Here's a version of Titanic Panic that doesn't require MSPD, it's not as good yet, but it's lower priority.
TITANIC PANIC - PAINT THINNER EDITION
REVISION 59:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/279p8esz2eo8z37/PaintThinnerRev59.pk3

NOTE: This one doesn't require MS Paint Doom, but does need
Skulltag actors and data (loaded in that order is safest)
Skulltag Actors

========================================================================
( Don't download this if you already own Doom 2, but if you don't, enjoy these public domain enemy sounds :P) :
A .zip containing the latest version of FreeDoom's doom2.wad.

CREDITS
MSPD version
Mspaintdoom by CombineBobNT
Everything else is original except map06 uses a slightly edited version of a song that Adam wrote!

PAINT THINNER version
Uses the same song on map06
currently:
A modified version of the (kind of awful) weapons resource wad

I used CombineBobNT's decorate code for the quadshotgun in this weapons resource wad because it's great and this weapon resource is not

I used some monsters from R667 that were included in MSPD, notably the satyr, catharsi, squire and a couple hell knight edits.

using the uzi and flamethrower from R667

Skulltag data/actors

I think that's it, but Paintthinner is subject to change any time really

Playing Doom on modern PCs

STEP 1:
(If applicable) Acquire at least Doom2.wad, and DOOM.wad if you want to play the first game as well (recommended).
This can be purchased on steam (it's okay, because you'll be using a sourceport, and won't be running the game through steam)

ALTERNATIVELY: You can download Freedoom which is a version of Doom2.wad without all the copyrighted sounds and textures.
(You'll want Complete IWAD)

STEP 2: Download and install your sourceport
I recommend Zandronum, and am using it for my WAD. If you were directed here because you want to play my WAD, give this a shot, otherwise the sourceport you play is up to you, you can't go wrong with Zdoom or GZdoom, and Odamex and Zdaemon have their merits. DOWNLOAD ZANDRONUM

Step 3: Configuration
Go to OPTIONS > SET VIDEO MODE > and set RENDERER to OPENGL.
Also set the resolution to whatever works for you.
If you have a decent computer you can also scale the graphics up, which looks particularly good with MSPD. Do this here:
Optioins > Display > OpenGL > Texture Options > High Resolution Scaling (or something like this)

Step 4: Run
The simplest way to start the game is probably by running Doomseeker (install this along with Zandronum, they're packaged!), then clicking "File" at the top left, and click "create server" (or just press Ctrl+S)
When the Create Server window pops up, just make sure your IWAD is set to doom2.wad (Freedoom or the original are  both just called doom2.wad), and then under "Additional WADs and Files" you can just click and drag whatever extra stuff you want to run. For my wad, add my levels, then MSPD because that's currently required (i'll make a standalone one later, but I'm loving mspd right now).

To play single player, just make the game mode "Cooperative" and click "Play Offline."
To get an unmodified experience though, go ahead and start a new game once it launches so there are no dmflags set.
